There are two levels of membership in NSHCA: Full and Associate.
- Full membership is open to established independent homecare
providers.
- Associate membership is open to all others who support the aims of the organization,
or who are not yet eligible for Full membership.
Full members have voting privileges and may hold positions on the Board of Directors.

- At NSHCA's monthly meetings we discuss matters of concern to the association
and its members.
- Meetings usually take place
over lunch on the first Tuesday of each month, 11.30am-1.30pm, at Smitty's, 362 Lacewood Drive, Halifax.
Check the dates above for any exceptions due to stat holidays etc.
